St. Paul's Lutheran Church, WELS
When/Where:
Mommy & Me happens each
second Monday of the month from 10:00-11:15 a.m.
We meet
in the basement of church during the school year.
If the
door is locked when you arrive, please keep knocking until someone
can let you in.
During
summer months, we usually schedule events each Monday
morning, such as: swimming, park outings, and zoos.
What
We Do:
10:00-10:10:
Welcome/ unstructured playtime.
10:10-Story time and
songs.
 10:25-Snack time.
10:35-Play time.
11:00-Clean up time.
11:05-Closing
Story/Goodbye Song.
11:15-Goodbye!
What
to Bring:
All you need are the
basics (diapers, wipes) and a sippy cup. We sign up so that each
mom has her own month to provide a snack and juice for the
children. Some moms also choose to arrange a simple craft.
Each child will have the chance to bring along a favorite story for
us to share with the group the month his/her mom brings the snack!
Misc.
Info:
We keep a few sippy
cups in case anyone forgets. It’s appreciated if the mom who has
snack for the month can wash those cups in the kitchen sink
following snack time.
You are welcome to
come and go as needed, but please keep in mind that the doors are
locked throughout. When we go into the back room for stories and
songs, it is hard to hear someone knocking. If possible, try to
arrive before 10:10, please. Otherwise, you may need to knock on
the side window.

How fun it is for our children to have this opportunity to make
friendships
with the other little ones of our congregation!
As for us moms, we appreciate the opportunity to get to know the
other mothers in our congregation.
